Terima Kasih Semua

Terima kasih kpd semua yg berdoa utk arwah abah.

My Story

Hiya, I'm Sarah! I am 8 months old this week. This is a story of what I love to do everyday.

I love to play & play & watch cartoon.

I love it when ummi & ayah snap my photos (I wonder why its dark).

I love it when ummi & ayah hold me.

I also love to eat, well...I munch almost anything (my all time fav is the tv remote control).

I love to sleep snugly in ummi & ayah's arms, and would cry if I wake up with them out of sight.

I love to crawl around the house, esp. in the kitchen to 'help' ummi.

And I love it when ayah gets home from work so we can play 'wrestling' non stop, until ummi says, 'sudahla tu..' & until one of us cry, & that's me.

Sarah dearest,

Ummi & ayah hope that you have fun growing up.
We love you dearly, you know that : )

Happy Birthday Dear

I am completely clueless & hopeless when it comes to choosing a gift or present for my husband. What makes things even worse, we don't prefer the same things most of the time. What I see as okay for me, is totally not okay for him. And what he sees as beautiful to him, is sooo not my taste. Even until now, I haven't have a clue which colour should I pick when buying shirts for him!

So, for his birthday this year, to be on the safe side, I bought him something in black & mud green.
And instead of lovey dovey cards as always, I bought him a funny & funky card.
And a cute card from his little girl too.
I hope he likes them : )

Selamat hari lahir my dear.
Semoga kematangan usia semakin mendekatkan dan mengingatkan kita dgn Allah.

Reverse Gear

Yesterday, it was as cold as ever, but the sun shone like it was mid summer already, very bright, very summery. But it was not summer, it's not even spring yet! With the snow still scattered all over, I think the climate has gone haywire.
But that was yesterday. Today it is hazy, and all I can see is greyish sky, and gloomy me.

Nevertheless, whatever the day loooks like, Sarah has never stop to enthuse me, everyday.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday she has started to crawl forward! We've been waiting for this eagerly because before this, Sarah initially crawled backward (yes, you read it right).
It's somehow funny in a way, but the idea of seeing her started moving in a reverse way worried me a little.
I mean, your child moving backward?

Anyway, like her TokAbah said, 'That's something special to be remembered about Sarah'.
Indeed : )

Sarah & the Snow

It's been snowing for a few days here in Glasgow. How lovely for those who celebrate, to have this festively 'white' christmas.

This morning, I managed to dress up Sarah in her rather bulky white snowsuit and rushed to the store nearby, just to find an excuse so that Sarah can feel, literally feel the snow falls and touches her skin. But her reaction was an anticlimax, not as I expected as she just stared blankly to the snow that landed heavily on her suit, not even trying to 'catch' the snow drops. I'm not blaming her to be so passive & uninterested, bcoz she just woke up from sleep & she's still blurrrrr....

Though a snow might just some plain ice droplets that fall from the sky, no different from the rain, but there's something strange about snow that makes me feel so happy and serene just by watching it falls. While Sarah might be too small to appreciate it, but I think Sarah knows that the snow is something special : )

Sarah at 5 months

Sarah dah masuk 5 bulan, gigi pun dah mula tumbuh, and that explains why she will spread her hands widely & greedily, try to grab any food in ummi & ayah's hands. We haven't introduce any solid food until she's 6 months old, and I am impatiently wait for that (and I did being impatient by sometimes feed her with blitzed fruit puree!) And a rather not so girly thing that Sarah loves to do is screaming so loud, so loud until someone picks her up. And the best thing at the moment, Sarah dah boleh meniarap, yay! I don't know why I'm telling you these, but I feel that every little changes that happen to a growing child is just priceless. Happy days.
