Sarah & the Snow

It's been snowing for a few days here in Glasgow. How lovely for those who celebrate, to have this festively 'white' christmas.

This morning, I managed to dress up Sarah in her rather bulky white snowsuit and rushed to the store nearby, just to find an excuse so that Sarah can feel, literally feel the snow falls and touches her skin. But her reaction was an anticlimax, not as I expected as she just stared blankly to the snow that landed heavily on her suit, not even trying to 'catch' the snow drops. I'm not blaming her to be so passive & uninterested, bcoz she just woke up from sleep & she's still blurrrrr....

Though a snow might just some plain ice droplets that fall from the sky, no different from the rain, but there's something strange about snow that makes me feel so happy and serene just by watching it falls. While Sarah might be too small to appreciate it, but I think Sarah knows that the snow is something special : )

I totally understand! No matter how freezing cold it is, I have to admit, it still puts a smile on my face. Watching the snow fall gently. And seeing everything covered in pure white snow. It's just breathtaking. :)

Aww, she's so cute!

There's always the surprise with little child isn't it? You never know - in their world, what is magic and what isn't.

Sometimes the way they just leap up to you and close their arms around you, they make you feel as if you're the best thing in the world that happened to them. For them, you are a magic enough.

:)

Hope to see Sarah soon, Yati dengan anak-anak saudara bertiga (yes, we just got another girl last week - Alia), feels like we have our own sisterhood already in the house previously conquered by men.

Take care Sarah and mummy!
